I Rise, You Fall

I Rise, You Fall

A Poem by Jeff

I used to think I could never live without you

Now I can't imagine

Returning to that hell with you

You expected me to break

You underestimated me

That was your mistake

I'm not afraid to fight

To show you what you've done

And that I was right

You can't push me anymore

I won't be a sacrifice

In this war

Now I'm standing tall

After this I'll rise

You'll be the one to fall

No hearts on the sleeve with this one.. you left them all here for the world to read.. Painful, angry and raw.. oh the goodies of a moody piece.. Loved it!

This is an angry angry poem Jeff..but as i always believe when we write with our emotions raw and bleeding it simply is evident.
