You're Kidding Me

You're Kidding Me

A Poem by XinHyun
"

tough week

"
everything is going down under.
what could be better?

hair in my eyes,
to fight back the cries.
there's nothing
i wouldn't do,
for a true family tie.

no family near
and no laughter here.
after seventeen years,
there's still no truth at all,
behind the portrait on the wall.

Take it down,
that portrait there,
the portrait says "Love"
this isn't fair.
suffering,
each of us,
are down and done.

Of many we are only one.
