Good, Then I Am A Writer

I wrote this because as a writer, any reaction is better than none.

Do the lines I write sometimes
make you shudder
as the winds of truth
blow your reflection
into fragments;

Pieces of your inner workings
exposed
forcing you to look at yourself
in the light of day?

Do my thoughts threaten
your reality
rocking your very core
into realms since
unrecognized;

Like a built-in light
inside
your compact mirror, magnifying
blemishes on your world?

Good, then I am a writer.

You know, I was just jumping about here...searching for something readable, long since having given up the habit of sticking with a piece no matter how poorly done, no matter how inept, illiterate, ill conceived, banal, cliche!
Having long zipped, up, up and away at first light, first verse, phrase I lit upon your piece. Lo! I braked! A poem. A piece of worthy verse! Lo! Who harkens here? And I looked. Ah! Jenny Davis. And so it was. No accident.

woah yeah you defffffly are a writer... i really enjoyed it and i dont usually like it when people write about writing you know what i mean??? Like when people talk about how to write and stuff like that i usually get bored but this was pretty good...
