Cold heart-ed Snake

Cold heart-ed Snake

A Poem by JayDee

An anger hidden

In false despair

Unwanted scars

Of memories evil glare

Told to one

The hatred spread

The ugly truth

Everything of dread

Words spoken

Nothing of kindness

A sweet soft heart

Destroyed by your blindness

The toil of your mouth

Dispersed unevenly

To those around you

That you disregard painfully

Again and again

I’ve tried to save you

But all you did

Was ignore the rescue

The cry of failure

Of a wondering heart

Insanity procured

Of all that fell apart

No more feelings

Nothing but pain

Deep within ones soul

That may constantly remain

A cold heart

Of unspoken truth

Trying to fill the innocent minds

Of those that you use

Goodbye for now

Goodbye forever

Nothing of your words

Will ever be a treasure

Stay away

For your own safety

I do not want to be responsible

For the death of a tragedy…

The world is full of Medusa's, so this write rings true. A frozen heart will never glow with warmth, no matter how hard one tries to set it aflame. These types are best left alone in the hope that they themselves can thaw their inner frost.

A nice rant. Briskly flowing and well rhymed.
