Fade away

I see you in my dreams,

when I am sound asleep,

I hear your voice,

I feel your touch,

God I miss you so much,

As morning comes,

you fade away,

Even though I beg for you to stay,

You leave again,

just as I am facing another day,

I wish I could hold you,

I wish I could touch you,

I will find a way,

To keep you here with me,

To keep you from fading away,

with each day break,

I need to keep you,

for my sanity's sake.
