I Fear

I Fear

A Poem by Jessica Turner

Being alone is something I fear
for being alone brings silence.
Silence is something I fear
for in the silence I think.
Thinking is something I fear
for with thinking comes suspicion.
Suspicion is something I fear
for if there is suspicion there is something to hide.
Hiding is something I fear
for hiding leads to lies.
Lies are something I fear
for lying means painful truths.
Truth is something I fear
for truth brings consequences.
Consequences are something I fear
for consequences bring an end.
An end is something I fear
for an end means letting go.

I enjoyed this piece, and I think many can relate, as fear is the rawest and truest emotion felt and shared. I like the way you chose to format this, it kept the poem moving in a fluent motion. I notice a couple of small errors, but overall, a well-written poem.

(suspition) did you mean, Suspicion?

(Lieing) [Lying]

wow you have summed up the human experience in 18 lines! this is very relatable, needs a spell check here and there but its beautifully penned!
