A Poem by Jhanvi YJ

      Opinions

She is beautiful, said yellow
No, she isn't,  said grey
That is my opinion, said she
She is not, think what you may

God is great, said the lion
God is unfair, said the beast
I'm skeptical, said the human
There is no God, said the atheist

Crocodile is cruel, said Monkey
He took a rabbit's life
Crocodile saves the family
Said Crocodile's wife

Women are stronger, said the housewife
Men don't bear a child
Men are stronger, said the chieftain
They toil in the wild.

This is such a pretty piece of poetry and I love the contrasting viewpoints. It's a really imaginative way of interpreting the "two sides to every story" (and sometimes three or four or five!). I think you could probably improve a little bit on the meter (if that's something you care about :) ) with a few simple rewrites, but the rhyming is very nice.

You are most welcome,intelligent poet.:)
the poem has a flow and a rhythm of its own, your imagination would lead to greater kind of poetry, well done.
