The Template

A Poem by Jiggsy
"

Perception

"
The template upon which all mankind is measured, is shattered :
Was it a lie, an illusion? - or was it that
Nothing mattered....
Striving for a new world which to belong to:
Lies and deception were all tools used to so do.
That template, so perfectly formed-
Became badly fractured. and I know not when...
I saw one so admired - adored - above the norm:
Maybe it was only manufactured - but then....
It all seemed precise and perfectly clear
To any observer - be it there. : be it here.
What happened to you, I ask:
But you cannot say.
Did the charade come to end - finally, one day.?

Thank you.. your critique is appreciated...it WAS a relationship and it was painfully disappointing...but that's life and you learn everything happens for a reason..gotta write some NEW stuff..:)

Thought provoking...
Is it a relationship?
Or a strand of DNA?
Either way a visually stunning work...
