Dreamer

Poem of pursuing ones dreams.

He closes his eyes and there he sees it,

Everything he could possibly want.

From his cornea to the pit of his stomach,

He begins to hunger for it.

From his stomach to his knees,

Anxiety begins to take him as his knees quiver.

From his knees to his feet,

Braced and ready for action.

He runs in pursuit of what he saw,

The hunger drives him,

The anxiety makes him determined,

His feet deliver him to his dreams.

First poem in a while. Thought of on the spot (Profile was bare).
