No End

Wrote this poem while I was taking an norwegian exam. Nothing like poetry to distract you from the real world, but I can´t help it when my mind gets creative.. :P

I´ve never told the story of us

Cause the story has no end

I´ve tried to finish it myself because

I thought I would feel better then

 

People ask me why we didn´t work out

We seemed so perfect, like our love was real

Our love was, and the truth is I don´t know

I have no idea why you decided to leave

 

I only have my side of the story

Rumors are never true

Only half the pages have been written

The paper torn in two

Only if you were to come back

Would I know the other half

 

I think about you, more each day

My love drowning my fear, quiet roar

For if you came, what would you say

What did I do for you not to want me anymore

 

I still love you dearly

That´s why I can´t put our story down

But the pain and waiting is making me weary

Circle of longing, walking round and round

 

Each hour the night comes closer

My heart doesn’t rest, doesn’t heal

If only I could find some closure

If only you came closer

If only I didn´t remember, didn´t feel

Yeah! This phrase has it's own unique way to express the whole of poetic words. I'd say yeah, Rumors're really not real that's why "Rumors're called Rumors" and we've to walk on our way to get what we want to ... to be what we want to at all without caring of "Rumors". Very nice and i think it's an interesting poem to read. The theme's perfect .. and yeah! You've a very creative mind and your way to express your feelings by words.
