Is anybody there?

Is anybody there?

A Poem by Johanna
"

I heard a line from a song that said "is anybody there" and wrote this from that line. Is anybody there?

"

Is anybody there?

Is anybody there?

Cause I can't see a thing

and I can´t hear

The words you said before

Is anybody there?

Hello, I'm scared

The ceilings getting closer to the floor

Is anybody there?

Love lingers and echos in my soul

Is anybody there?

Can anyone hear me when I call?

Have you become a shadow on the wall?

Is anybody there?

To retrieve by heartbeat when it falls

Is anybody there?

Behind these dark barriers of stone

Dancing in the lantern´s glare

I don't want to be alone

Is anybody there?

"Love lingers and echos in my soul"

This line is really beautiful, Johanna. Come to think of it, not just a body, but our soul is also a cage: a cage which holds love inside of it. And you don't have the key to your own soul, someone else does. But when that someone does manage to find the key, love just bursts out as if it had been waiting for that moment of freedom since eternity, I probably digress, but still, I really loved this line! :) As for the poem, it's a great one! The feeling is something I know really really well, and it is not a very pleasent feeling. You are not, you'll never be alone. All of us just need to trust :)

A great piece portraying the feeling of loneliness. No-one like being alone

Well done my friend :). another masterpiece from the heart of an artist. I like how it sheds some light on the darkness so to speak.

' Hello, I'm scared ~ The ceilings getting closer to the floor ' .. .. i know that nightmare.

There is nothing more than ... the fear of isolation: to feel like the last one left, the one gradually losing self in a space that fades by the second. Your words are brilliantly put, they really call out for help, your voice stays strong even if your heart's pumping away.. wonderfully powerful.
