The world is weighing me down

Made so heavy by this crown

Be careful what you say

Be careful what you do

It´s your duty everyday

To make sure they like you

Show of the money

Show of the fame

Do good towards somebody

In your country's name

But never let them see

Your human side

For you the rules off freedom

Do not apply

You always have to be at your best

To be called a princess

Wave and smile until you drown

If you are blessed to wear the crown

I could see quite clearly how the Princess Diana quote could inspire such a lovely poem as this one, and I have to say the message portrayed is only strengthened by the tone of your poem and the choice of your rhyme. Truly, societal pressures can be just as bad, if not worse, than the affairs that other people must face, and this message is clearly defined and portrayed through your words. WEll done.

I really enjoyed how you have made people see that royalty isn't all pretty and perfect after all, but it's all about being controlled and following rules. Living up to such expectations...must be stressful, yet they keep a smile on their face. Sure, there's jewelry, fancy clothes, luxury, but soon given such responsibilities that could be damaging. Great write!
