Time's Up

Time's Up

A Poem by Johannah

Tick tock

Tick tock

Houglass is halflempty

Do you remember ...

... oh wait I can't recall

Smile so endearing

a kiss that  bid goodbye

whirlwind of romance

Was it love?

Tick tock

Tick tock

tunnel's about to end

the last page has been turned

oh heart.. did it hurt?

Seconds, minutes, hours

Fairies, here my plea.

Shower me with dust

so I can be free

Tick tock

Tick tock

Time is almost up.

If death is what I seek

it would be sweet

But it is not

what is coming to me

Tick tock

Tick tock

Sweat in my forehead

and pain in my heart

Hours, minutes, seconds

None was left

Here we are at the crossroad

on which we shall part.

dread filled my being

uncertainties that lay ahead.

Tick tock

Tick tock

O dear clock be kind

may this moment be photographed

in the hands of time

forever etched in history

of all failed loves

As I walk all alone

half-void like the hourglass I once knew
