Love

A poem about loving one another in MARRIAGE. Everyone CAN love. EVERYONE.

My thoughts start to race at
night.
Every night.
Who am I in this life.
Every night.
Why do men have these wives.
That they don't like.
You have to really love your
wife,
To bring her heart to the light.
Peace be unto you now.
Love each other better now.
If your husband's breaking down.
Mold him back together now.
That's where real love is found.
Fight through the pain and the
crying.
Through the heartache and the
fighting.
Love every day and night.

I really like the way that you use assonance in this poem. I can also sense the passion and the feelings in this. The poem is phrased in a way to it rolls off your tongue and if wanted, could be told orally. The format is good, instead of the regular stanzas, the eye is attracted to the change and remains stimulated. Good Job Joe!
