The Beauty of an English Rose.

The truth beholds in mine eye.
A rose is all that's best in beauty.
She encompasses its true forms,
its many resplendent radiant faces,
-which the sunlight gently graces.

Reflected in dazzling radiance,
that shows no earthly boundary.
Reaching to very farthest stars
beyond the blue seas of seven,
-angelical dream of lovely heaven.

She smiles rainbows bright,
spreading charms of empathy.
Serenely expressing great joy.
Endearing love, so very unequivocal,
-she walks in beauty, an eloquent miracle.

Her glorious curves alluring you,
in seductions so very sensual form.
What fabulous sexual symmetry!
A red blooded man's, rampant adore,
-provoking a mythical lions mighty roar!

This might have been written as an ode to Greer Garson
after the biography, A Rose for Mrs. Miniver.

AWESOME!!! I really think that this is a truly descriptive poem and that this is purely romantic in nature. Gonna love those English roses.

roses- beautiful and glorious they are
I have always thought that thorns were not placed to hurt us but more to protect the beautiful rose...beauty needs protection from mighty roars*)
I have been watching this title float by all morning and I couldn't resist...glad I didn't

John,

Beautiful and inspiring. Ancient stone fortresses, dragons, roses. You write on topics close to my heart. Topics than inspire.

Yes, the rose, it is such a beautiful and encapsulating creation. How lovely and delicate. The beauty. The smell. The gentle caress of its petals if brushed across the lips. This is a magnificent write for a magnificent flower.

All my best. This was greatly enjoyed.

Oh how my heart sings to be reading classically written literature. Simple and lovely. Reminds me of another poem that I read a long time ago. I am almost smell the delicate fragrance and feel her soft petals...Also love your word choices.

Look forward to reading more
