Burden of Thought.

Burden of Thought.

A Poem by Jon Buckley

Breaking barriers you wouldn't know were there,

the endless wonder.

It goes on and on.

My mind, the fragile being, is blown.

It is non-stop.

Wearing me out.

Over-thinking is a poor man's job.

They have that power.

It's new to me.

Thinking. Wondering, in a world that forbids it.

Work of outlaws.

Pressure.

How can I unburden myself of my thoughts?

Distraction?

Interaction?

The answer has been blind in my subconcious.

Your presence.

Your being.

Your beauty is now the subject of my thought.
