A Hero's Devotion

He is the man that leads you

Claims he will make it new

He tells you that his dreams are pure

But his intentions are just to lure

He says that he will break the chains

But he'll just wrap them around your brain.

 

He is him because of them

From there is where the trouble stems

He tried to say it was for their gain

All he's done is bring them pain

He did what few else had done

To the heads of his people, he put a gun.

 

He can't live on forever

Better late than never

He is trying to be the one

That forces us to run

He drives us crazy in our heads

Why should he care if we are dead?

 

He will be here again tonight

But this shall be his final fight

He comes on his way now
