Before We were Forgotten

Im trying to remember the good times we shared,

but with each day passing by,

it gets harder and harder.

Before,

not talking to you for days would kill,

But now im used to it.

Before,

I would find myself thinking about you for hours on end,

But now,

I can't even remember they sound of your laugh.

Before,

I would rush through everything so i would have more time to talk to you,

now i don't even try.

Before,

I would talk about you nonstop,

But now I have nothing to talk about.

I have a feeling,

That us,

together,

Has been forgoten,

and Both of us,

has moved,

on.

I really like this, because I can relate to it. I have a friend whom I used to talk to for hours on end, including long conversations that went from 1:00 in the morning to 3:00 or 4:00. And everytime he couldn't talk to me I would get really upset and miss him so much. But now I'm used to it.

Brilliant write. I especially like how you didn't attempt to make it rhyme, and just went with it.
