Icy Fire

I'm angry, hurt, and I have that icy fist wrapped around my heart..

I

I want you to just look at me..
Look at the mess you've made of me.
Look at the cracks in my heart you have put there.
Look at the ice that is forming there.
I can't breathe, I can't breathe.

II

Look at the tears freezing upon my skin.
Listen to my screams, my cries
God, I just want to grab you and shake you
And make you look at me again,
Make you listen to me,
Make you see me..
I'm gasping, breathing, inhaling, trying to catch my breath

III

You didn't have to save me
You just had to love me enough to not f**k me up
You just had to be there for me
You were supposed to be the one who wouldn't hurt me
Who wouldn't damage me..
I want to hurt you, scream at you..
I'm shaking, shaking..

IV

I feel so alone..
With only this icy fist around my heart..
Slowly killing my spirit, my fire..
such a cold comfort.
I'm fading away...
