Mortality

Mortality

A Poem by Joshua Knight

When I go to the bliss of the venerated Indians

P'raps in my buffalo skins and moccasins

And rings and dins of yodel like yells

And shrieks and cries of hope and love and what not

… read Kerouac at my funeral
