Cloudy Dream

Cloudy Dream

A Poem by Jqjohnson

Mist and fog covering the forbidden grounds
Aspiring to be almighty clouds
Shapes are formed; alterations made
Blissful whites and peaceful grays

Dancing, spinning on waters
To the dirt, it doesn't give a bother
Ghostly fingers longing, reaching for the sky
Rejoice and be glad, the earth is alive

Trees doth not hinder its path
Steam on the eddies, an inviting bath
Odorless wisps altered by slight gusts
Heavenly film it enviously lusts

Daylight breaks through; air is cleared
The trees only friend left, the Spanish beard
A new dawn and cycles repeat
Fog comes in strong; refusing to be obsolete

You did not have a cloudy mind when you wrote this poem, though clouds were on your mind. It is a truly refreshing piece to read about fog, clouds, and mist. Such beautiful scenery to your words "Steam on the eddies," this poem actually makes me feel at peace. Even if the ending instills a little fear "Fog comes in strong," I keep wanting to re-read the poem, there is a mystery to it that draws one near. Thanks for sharing, keep writing!
