Winter

Winter

A Poem by Y.F.

I woke up to the sound of the morning dew,
which was crying outside my window for you,
you were now gone, forcing me to wait,
knowing not if seeing you again was my fate.

The frozen kisses of steam we've shared outside,
watching the raindrops on the window-frame glide,
daydreaming at night, covered in snow,
the only sweet caress I'll ever truly know.
