The Minister's Wife on a Rant

The Minister's Wife on a Rant

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

Upon seeing Lucifer....

"
Of all the maladjusted, avaricious vagabonds!
You are the most self-deluded.

Showing up here like you belong
At an orientation for a new character.

Well, I will have you know,
This is no comedy where you can exploit good folks

By dealing them a hand full of drama
And leaving them totally perplexed.

You are so notorious
The average naive spinster

Sees you coming a mile away,
And heaves a sigh of exasperation.

Now take your foolishness elsewhere!
You, no-account trouble-making devil!

Author's Note

Judy Ponceby
A challenge of random words from the Spectacular Secretary. A real stumper this time! Took me weeks to fit them all in. I even had to look up Avaricious. LOL :)
Thanks Spectacular Secretary, you know who you are, darnit! :)

Avaricious. Maladjusted. Vagabond. Orientation.
Comedy. Perplexed. Drama. Notorious. Exasperation.

(Felt like you were talking directly to me, Judy.)
What a great job you did with these random words; what a nifty piece of poetry you made of them.
Sometimes, dear lady, you're nothing short of amazing.

Maladjusted Vagabond...hmmm, could be my new WC screen name.
Loved this, Judy. I could see, feel, and hear it. That, to me, is what good poetry and storytelling is all about.
You took these words and built a fine piece of art.
