Sigh...

Sigh...

A Poem by Judy Ponceby

Oh, the folly

of the melancholy

Eschewing the jolly

on life's trolley.

You say a lot in just four lines - very cool.

So full of wisdom and cleverness in a small amount of words! I love your shorter works--they have layers---

(smiling) Excellent poem! You say much in a few lines of whimsy! "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!" From Auntie Mame... If you have not seen the 1958 film starring Rosalind Russell...I most highly recommend it!
