just another word

just another word

A Poem by Julia

Beauty

What is it really

Is it skin deep

Or something from within

Maybe a combination

Maybe neither

Is beauty really the color of your eyes

The volume of your hair

 The size of your jeans

Or if it the kindness in your voice

The hand you lend to others in need

The smile you show someone having a rough day

Maybe it’s both

Or possibly neither

Maybe beauty is just another word that we use out of context

Maybe

So often, as with so many other words, beauty is misused. Very good!

Really nice Julia - I like it! Good questions but I particularly love the ending.
