Love Knows No Season

Love Knows No Season

A Poem by MsJewel

love poem

Love knows no season

Yet… I look to you as I would a summer day

of azure dreams and lush green meadows

and a warm wind chasing the clouds away

It is this wind

singing through the trees,

                        a wind chime of melodies

dancing with the flowers on the hill

in velvet scents and rose petal whispers

soothing my senses and stirring my soul

And should a raindrop fall on such a day of sweetness,

I’ll embrace this sudden storm and tiptoe through rainbows

knowing they’re not out of reach

                             not on a summer day

For you are the wind

               lifting me up

                      beautiful you

weaving my heart with sunbeam smiles

Love knows no season…

yet you are a summer day

Beautiful writing of seasons found in anther within experiences of impacting passion.
Loved this one especially':

The best part about this poem is the way you switch it up, on many levels. You play with the different seasons & imagery relating to seasons. You play with line length & how it impacts the changing flow of your message. Love your imagery from nature, which pumps all the senses (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Take care of yourself. :)
wow - this is such a beautiful poem - its almost a 'wedding' poem if that makes sense. it has that timeless quality to it.

Julie, Julie, Julie.....you have evoked yet another heavy sigh from me. The velvety soft romance in every line of this poem flows so smoothly. The bonafide emotion....the honesty of the love....comes through with lacy loveliness. I truly don't know what to say about your love poems, Julie. They raise the bar and they deserve praise. Kudos! Thank you for the wonderful comment and compliment. It means so much to me! :) Julie
Sweetness overload! I can sense the genuine love in this poem. Effective imagery and form. The font used is also commendable. It's very appropriate to the tone of this piece. Delicate, sweet, romantic, how else can I possibly describe this excellent poem? :)

"Love knows no season...yet you are a summer day." No other better way to end it. Bravo! :x
