Windswept

Windswept

A Poem by MsJewel
"

a simple love poem

"
art ~ Gary Benfield

Don’t hasten the winds that tenderly tease

and breathe gracefully, as the falling leaves

rain from heaven, as soft as tears wept

Let us float carefree, as wildflowers dance

in a warm embrace, with the ambiance

of beauty, forever, in our hearts kept

We’ll gather this breeze, this sweet disarray,

only for two, and here we will stay,

together in love and completely windswept

Julie,
Your words always carry an easy vision for the eye while tugging at the hearts emotions. There is a graceful motion lulls the reader to a peaceful bliss as they read this poem. Well done young lady.
Blessings,

The picture is lovely. I'd have that hanging on a living room wall. The poem flows well and carries a sweet essence.

Romantic threads intricately weave throughout this most eloquent form of poetry. How well you have mastered and presented this, Julie. The art is just as captivating as your verses. Truly, gorgeous my friend!
