Let it Snow

Let it Snow

A Poem by MsJewel

As stars that shine on winter nights

are to the moon's beauty

when snowflakes whisper in the wind

so was his love to me

And still he shines deep in my heart

and whispers in the glow

of winter nights and pale moons

Please love…let it snow

This was beautiful. A great many folks on the east coast got more snow than they bargained for these last few days, I was in the lower elevations and there was a torrential rain storm followed by forty mile an hour winds and lightning. It was quite the experience. At least there were no tornadoes here. I enjoyed the read. F.

'winter nights and pale moons' ...there's certainly a beauty in the two as there is in this piece. Lovely to read you, always. x

awwwwwwwwwwww! that's is so beautiful!! lovely ... precious ... a moment of comfort and peace .. such love it is ... really enjoyed the snow ma'am ... as long as its falling straight down and not sideways ;) in fluffy flakes not biting stings ... hovering just under freezing .. not 32 below ... :) so glad to have read this Ms. Jewel ... a real treat for me heart and mind ..hope your Christmas was grand and i do wish you a very Happy New Year

This is some of the most gracefully romantic poetry I've read. I'm not even a fan of romantic poetry, but the lyrical & longing sensations draw me in with authenticity. I've always related certain times of the year to certain memories from various times of my life. Haven't spent very many times in snow, but a few of those are certainly worth remembering, so thanks for the nudge! I haven't seen you here much so I'm glad you read request me.
