Empty Future

Empty Future

A Poem by Jurikosan
"

its short. but. eh.

"
Time is rolling on like a platform in motion.
Things come and go, like tides of the ocean.
A dream is a sail, that a good wind can use.
And a good song or person's the one thing that's true.

Where is the future ? In another dimension ?
Awaiting the day, when it gains our attention ?
Are we really real, or like bubbles in Light -
that merge with the air in eternal flight ?
Is it whether we stay, or whether we go ?
Where is the future ? I'd like to know.

It's a good little poem that asks a great question to ponder upon. =) I've always believed that the future is unwritten until we get there. It's carved out of everyones actions in the now. So, to get to the best future possible for the self, one needs to make the best choices they can in the moment they are living in. The best being defined by what they feel is best, as true destiny in this world is governed by the emotional heart. That's what I believe anyway. =)

Thanks for sharing your ink!
