Don't Let Go

Just something that came to mind when I watched the beginning of August Rush...its not about the movie though.

 

I want to wake up in your arms,
knowing nothing will bring me harm,
Our dreams keeping smiles on our faces,
knowing we’ll be each other’s braces.

I want to know what it feels like to hold you close,
to chase away all of our ghosts.
Our love for each other keeping us safe,
chasing each towards our unique faith.

I want to look up and see your beautiful eyes,
forgetting all the hurts and lies.
Our happiness making our tears go away,
forgetting all the pains from the previous days.

Don’t let me go, just hold me tight,
we both know this is right.
Our parents may think we have not a clue,
we both know we absolutely do.
