Friends or Foe?

Who do you think you are to me,

on every topic we disagree.

It's funny that you think you know,

all the terrors I undergo.

You mock me and laugh at me,

at the sight of danger I don't flee.

I always stay to stand my ground,

don't hold your breath I'll stick around.

you always like to start the fight,

but you're all bark and no bite.

Your won't win cant you see,

your petty insults don't harm me.

The things you did to make me mad,

taking the little life I had.

Shut up and leave me go,

who I am you'll never know.

But tell me this before you leave,

are we friends or enemies?

"Are you serious cant you see,

we are distant enemies."

I guess we've always been foes,

ever since long ago.

I like this. It reminds me of being in a friendship where someone is often there for you, but they talk behind your back a lot. Then one day you realize the person you thought was your friend is actually just an enemy, dragging you down. Lovely piece of writing!
