Wall

Wall

A Poem by Anonymous

Wall: An upright structure of masonry, wood, plaster, or other building material serving to enclose, divide, or protect an area.

When there is a wall between you and disaster,
are you thankfull?
When it is made of fiberglass and you can see, very distinctly and clearly, everything that happens beyond it,
do you turn away?

After all, it is easier that way,
when you cannot clearly see the stones being thrown on the other side of the wall.

If you don't know which side you stand,
or exactly where to place family or freinds,
are you still glad that the wall exists?

After all, how masochistic would you have to be to break it?
