Finding herself

Finding herself

A Poem by Jyoti_Ablaze

Jiggling down the lane, she laughs

She laughs so hard that she cries

Running down the lane, she falls

She falls so hard that she flies

Stumbling across it, she finds

Finds something deep, she loses

 Desperate for breath, she binds

She binds so tight that she frees

As a free spirit she rise

Rises so sure that nothing defies.

This is beautiful, snaking lines which contradicts its own fate. Flow is glorious and so id the design. Wonderful stuff this one

It's short and sweet. Good use and flow of the words. Nicely written

Thank you, Salvatore. :)
Sometimes I wonder how do you manage to express the life in these words. I mean it so deep and sometimes we don't think about these side of coin... She fell so hard she flies... Yeah yo do flies my friend

You are welcome, Jyoti! A pleasure :)
I loved this! As said by others, I really liked the juxtaposition of the lines. They really contrast to one another that makes for me an enjoyable read. Also the content helps. I am a free spirit so this poem resonated deeply within me.

Good job.

Thanks for posting!
