Good to know! :)
I love this it has good emotional depth Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
There are some issues of flow that can be fixed with the addition of a few defining words. If I may be so bold I would like to offer this critique edit

In her deep brown eyes, he swam
Searching for a flicker of light
And found a tethered piece of hope
With her soul wrapped around it

He excavated a drowned heart
And found a mine full of broken stars
Patiently he fixed all the pieces
Lightening of life out shined darkness

And happiness kissed her at last
