Once a upon a time
When I was falling in love,

I felt stars hit me when you appeared
Through heaven's door.
My bricks fell when my strong knights finished building The Great Wall.
Cupid's arrow aimed directly into my chest,
He didn't even miss an inch or a mile.
As I staggered from the pain,
I landed in your arms with my face just inches away from your heart.
But I still had my guard up, and I protected myself with
Every dragon and warlock,
But once you laid your soft palms on my cold face
I stumbled down to my knees, and I fell deeply into you.
You opened my eyes, and I felt the first kiss you gave me
I was Snow White awakening from death into a world you brought me into.
My shields disappeared and my guard began to waver,
I melted into your arms;
I felt eager for your warmth that was brought by a hug.
When I laid my ears against your chest,
I could hear the ocean waves from miles away;
I'd listened to every melody you made with your soft voice.
My castle doors opened and welcomed everything inside

Happiness filled my land and your every touch blossomed a million red roses.
You filled every page of my book, and our love began and ended in pieces together.
A happily ever after...
Existed only in fairy tales.
A reality I wished for every time I closed my eyes.

When rocks suddenly tumbled down,
Dark days entered my land
My roses turned into ashes and my castle plundered down to a pile of waste.
My army of soldiers died from the poison that spat from your mouth.
Snow White never awoke from her slumber,
She remained in endless darkness,
In a nightmare where she could hear his wicked laughter
Haunting her,
Taunting her.
