Wedding Ring

Wedding Ring

A Poem by KT-B
"

A poem not about me at all!

"
"Wedding Ring"

You haven't wore it in ages
"It's too small" my heart rages
"Get it enlarged" I keep telling you
But there's always something else to do

I leave mine by the sink
Hoping you'll see the missing link
If you do, you don't say
Put mine back on the very next day

Forget about it for a bit
Even though I think it's s**t
Somethings not quite right with that
Am I being a whiney brat?

Today whilst hoovering I heard a clink
Was that his wedding ring? I think
"Do you know where your ring is at?"
I asked him while I slowly sat

"Upstairs", he said doing a quick maneuver
I told him / think it's in the hoover
He looked upset, went out the door
Well why the f**k was it on the floor?

I asked him "did you find it then"
"I never even looked yet hen"
Well that's that, you care no more
No hoover contents on the floor
