forward motion

A Poem by KWP

to know when is enough, to walk
away unguarded, to know you must
face the pain of empty tomorrows

don't you dare look back

up ahead
it's you!
chasing rainbows filled with
new promise

don't you dare look back

Chasing rainbows with what, dear friend! Your mind and intention is a hard taskmaster, isn't it?!
I know your mind and intention travel far and wide - must take a leaf out of your book... soon.

Hope life is being kind. Stay a while some time so we can natter a few.

Absolutely!
That sounds like good sound advice! These are words we know we just don't always do as we should. Well written.

Walking away is often extremely difficult but not as difficult I believe as having the willpower to never look back. Not even a fleeting glance? Nope...eyes forward, the future awaits.
I know this is an older piece for you but I have been away for a while so it is all new to me.

To walk away is a hard step but to know that the future is promised is promising. This is a good one

Good morning,
My philosophy exactly..
Never ever dare to look back... go forward to new hopes and promises.
Tomorrows will be filled with love if one lets it.

Don't you dare look back at yesterday's sadness and gloom, don't look back at all the hardships you've been through. Look ahead at tomorrow because one day you'll be ridden of your sorrows, chasing the rainbows, forgetting that feeling of hollow. This is a poem filled with optimism, one must remain positive in the struggles they face to welcome better days. A powerful write!
