Swallow Evil

This is pretty much just thoughts, not really a "poem"

Some days I want to shed my skin like a serpent
Renewal of body
If it were possible I'd shed my mind as well
Its stuck in a labyrinth of jumbled bullshit that makes me want to scream

Scream.... not only for myself but for everyone and everything
We're killing the beauty; the romance of it all
And I think about life all the time.... we're just puppets in this whole charade
We need to be set free, have the strings cut loose

I can dream but people are immovable, slow with the disease of the living dead
We're living in an inescapable box....
And you think you understand revolution??
Fighting it with your meaningless peace signs

Its all gunpowder and death to vacant minds
fading like dust explosions and mushroom clouds

Oh good lord i loved this. THe whole human condition in less than a page.Man for what he realy is just a filthy animal who can do fancy tricks who is sustained by the delusion of hope. Great wit and wordplay.

Oh such sadness and anger ranting through.. thoughts that have probably crossed many people's minds.. including my own.. but then I am afraid I find that peace sign.. as war only kills the poor mostly.. it's like employees trying to fight company policy.. you need a high percentage of revolters.. and even through fighting may get no where.. but then at the end of the day .. through peace at least loved ones are still with us! Love your honesty through this.. rings true of the times today.. makes one think for sure.. keep it up as it is great to get those feelings out!!! =)
