Inhale

Inhale

A Poem by Onyx Sky

Inhale me deeply
Into your lungs like smoke
Then softly blow
Me out

I want the world to catch a whiff
Through your second hand smoke

Cause I’m that powerful
Let me be
Perpetual
Let me blow
A drift

Sip me slowly
For I’m something worth savoring
Not the ordinary
From the vineyards of California
Don’t drink me I’m worth tasting

Dip eagerly
Into the well
Of my heart
It isn’t just water
It’s a natural resource
That you take advantage of

This is gorgeous, definitely a sip of something rare, not just water and ink.
You shouldn't let it be taken advantage of, though. Tsk.

This has a natural feel, not contrived or forced, but a flow from your thoughts. I like work like this.
