The Quest

The Quest

A Poem by Lupus Kaos
"

I'm still a fighter, a warrior

"
Seeking the crystal of Hope
I've gathered my gold,
my strength and all
the emotions I have.

Just to exchange the crystal.

I still fight them monsters
of my past and future wounds
I still take all that matters
out of the hardest battlegrounds

Just to experience true power

And I try to master the art
of serenity. The pearl of that
sea in which we traveled then,
I'm going to throw away again.

And hang a beautiful rose on my neck.

And when I reach the destination

What I have never seen before
is there. The exceptional beauty of the crystal
-which in me I will store-
I will have and leave them all.

Because I have found what I was
searching for: Hope, Life, Strength

And I will never leave them!

This really invokes a lot of imagery based primarily around the crystal, which is painted out to be the speaker's drive forward. He wants to see the crystal again. To go find that beauty and put it in his heart, I really like that.
