Lack Of Trust

What goes through my head when I hear words like "I love you"

I heard words I never believed before

But instead of listening, I closed the door

My mind damaged my life beyond repair...

I hid in the shadows and lost myself

Acting out, but can't ask for help

Open my mouth, but out only comes air...

I push away because I'd rather not pretend

Get my hopes up just to get hurt again

Because in the end, no body's there...

You never saw the world through my eyes

If you did, you'd probably wish to die

Delusions make reality disappear.
