Daisy

White petal clouds

With a golden sun center

Rise in a meadow

 

Rue Anemone

Sway in the breeze,

with fragile white star petals

and lobed leaves

 

Yellow Corydalis

Yellow spurs with,

The lacy fern like leaves

Nestle against a log

 

Trout Lily

Shaded hill of,

Stars that bend to the sun

Fold back in the dark

 

Bellwort

Rocky ledge where,

Yellow bells arch like a bridge

Along side a creek

 

Butterweed

Sunset field where

Seeds will spark life again

When spring returns
