The Story Of Love & Hate!

The Story Of Love & Hate!

A Poem by Karen Johnson
"

I got this idea and it turned out to be wonderful!

"
--------------------------------------------------------

Out of the womb of mother hope,

Twins " hate and love were born.

Both were soul-mates; Their bond could break none.

Hate would spread the essence of care,

And love would caress it carefully and all the pain itself bear,

Through thick and thin,

Through bad and good,

Both hope & love together stood.

Stories of them,

The world proudly said,

Their message of goodness,

All, warmly spread.

“All wasn't always going to be well,”

Hate knew quite well,

He prayed that his instincts be wrong,

He prayed that goodness may never go wrong.

All of hates fears came true,

When one night a tyrannous storm blew,

The heaven and hell were torn apart,

And the almighty did come below and stand smart.

His face he had raised,

And his body stiff and poised,

He shook his head in disbelief,

For never had he seen no grief.

He ordered to summon the doers of good,

He ordered to separate the bearers of hope.

Both hate and love were brutally parted,

And one became the symbol of enmity,

And one the best feeling that one could hold.

This is irony of time,

This is the result of your deeds,

Love and hatred are broods of the same mother,

They were just separated to build more wonder.

Challenge and the test was the need then,

The power of loyalty was to be tested then,

That is the reason mother hope,

Agreed to separate her two souls.

It is we who failed the test of time,

It is we who got crushed under the ravages of lie,

It is we who couldn't bring love and hate back,

It is we who couldn't keep their goodness steadfast.

Let love and enmity become one again,

Let every bad go in vain,

Let us stand up for all good,

And together let us build a steadfast world.
