Nonsensical Chatter

Nonsensical Chatter

A Poem by Kathy Mc Cathy

Why is it so difficult ?

To choose between sound or no sound

Is there any sound even when no one ‘s around

What does sound actually mean , does it require an audience

Or is simply a lonely beat jumping around in everyone’s absence

I’d say there is sound , even when no one’s there

But the other way around , also seems fair

This is just a paradoxical question , a friend asked me

Food for thought , too much to think about ,indeed!

This is a fine question....to answer it based on science we can say that if there is a medium to travel sound wave then there will be sound if no one is hearing but our brain is accustomed to perceive different sound differently...by this we can say even silence has a sound:)
Nice one

A whimsical view on sound. Like you I totally believe sound exists whether there is an ear to hear it or not. For it can also be felt if one can not hear. This was a fun read. Thank you for sharing your poem.
