Frozen

Frozen

A Poem by Katie Marie

Frozen.
In time.
I can't move,
But my mind is racing.
What happened?
What did I do to deserve this?
Nothing...
I just stood there...
I let you use me,
Just like all the others.
I loved you,
Or I thought I did.
I thought you loved me back,
But I was wrong.
You said "I love you" so many times.
You never meant it.
You hurt me,
Inside and out.
You said "I'm sorry" so many times.
You said "It will never happen again" so many times.
You never meant it.
It's not me you loved,
You loved seeing me in pain,
                              crying,
But always coming back,
Because I was stupid.
You broke my heart,
But I couldn't tell,
Because I was blinded,
By the love I thought I felt.
Now I'm frozen.
In time.
Because of the love that was never there.

Beautiful.
I like it a lot, it really gives a sense of tragedy to how this person is feeling. It's great choice of words.

You never cease to amaze.
