Bottom of the ocean

Bottom of the ocean

A Poem by Katy Stash

I wrapped all my thoughts in a box
And I've thrown them on the bottom of the ocean
No matter how hard I've tried
I can't get you out of my mind
But I can't wait for you forever
And I can't hurt myself
By forgiving you all the time
Remember the things I've told you
When I asked you to love me
You were always hurting me more
I've tried to walk away from you
But my feet were stuck on the ground
I can hear your voice calling me out
And I can see your tears falling down
And I don't want you to miss me at all
Cause things will get much harder
And I won't be able to tell you goodbye
I wrapped all my thoughts in a box
And I've thrown them on the bottom of the ocean

You want to live with the boy.
So,despite his neglect and indifference you like to forgive him deep within your heart. He also loves you as I understand from your statement.
So your decision to throw your thoughts wrapped in a box on the bottom of the ocean was very wise.
Great poem.
Enjoy it.

I disagree with the last reviewer, both girls and boys are meant to look after each other. if girls side is for caring, loving and managing then boys side is for PROTECTION, and then includes all what is on girls side. A man have more responsibilities than a women, I'm not favouring anyone here. :) Its just that you haven't met the right person yet. A RIGHT MAN.. :) Well talking about the poem, its really nice, expressed by the real feelings and emotions, writing pattern is also very nice. But still I think you can add more to it. :)

Hey! I love the diction you used here. Your first few sentences made me actively engaged into your poem. A story is definitely here, despite the length. Good job.

This has to be my favorite part:
"I wrapped all my thoughts in a box
And I've thrown them on the bottom of the ocean"

Keep writing!
