Auburn Sky

Auburn Sky

A Poem by UnknownWritter
"

A persons self expression and pain reflection on the life of a star.

"

While watching the night sky you may see one last star twinkling before the glory of night fads into Auburn Mornings,
That lost little star alone,
Shining before the world,
Baring its true colors,
A lot of the time I wonder about that little star, why he’s alone.
One time I took into perspective, maybe he’s not alone,
Just that last standing war hero in the sky,
But that thought crept away and the remorse
I felt for that start nestled into my heart.
I think now I was meant to see that star,
Just grazing the earth with it’s color,
Just waiting for something to happen.
Back then knowing I wasn’t the only one alone,
Soothed me,
But I thought maybe he get’s comfort out of my pain,
The worlds pain.
I think now he wanted to be alone,
Baring his true colors,
Through the auburn sky.
