fade

fade

A Poem by Kees Kapteyn

Yearwide memory,

This friendship has atrophied

From lack of use.

You held the chord on the piano,

The music sustained,

Rich and beautiful.

You moved your touch,

A barren silence followed.

i've always thought if i were to play a musical instrument better than just learning the basics it would be the piano, it's a very lonely thought not the kind of music one gets up to dance to...i once titled a poem "the circle of the piano and it's ache"...you really said that well from what i got out of it....short but well put
