Angel eyes

Angel eyes

A Poem by Kelly Dale

Angel Eyes

Wondering what brings me here
Sitting with that lonesome tear
As I'm looking through another eyes.
As I pretend not to cry.

As I ponder all thee rejections
That I have received throughout the days
I keep searching for that special affection
To take away all of my dismays

Watching the happiness walk on by,
And wind up believing another lie
My emotions are like a flower that weakens everyday.
Which leaves with nothing more to say

I come to realize
That I can't keep living' through an angel's eyes.
'Cause I'm living a fantasy in disguise.

Rejections hurt and you convey that emotion well in your stanzas.

'My emotions are like a flower that weakens every day'

That is one example. Happiness isn't easy when there is much negative feeling around.

Sadly we have to live the pain just like positives.
