LAUNDERING DAY

LAUNDERING DAY

A Poem by Kelsmiles
"

Just something fun I wrote while waiting for the laundry to get done lol.

"

LAUNDRY DAY
Water, suds, slashing
get all that's dirty, clean
Spinning, whirling in the tub,
tossed heat, mmm, smells good.
 Bleach, bounce of so fresh
wind blowing, spread sheets, snapping
pinned up lines.Keep it clean.
Dogs yapping, kids gasping, Mom yells, "HEY!"
Folded vestments, baskets braced,
hips swaying, bank it away.
Drawers tossed, socks lost
Hanging objects in the closets.
Bucks changing, investing coin release,
quarterly.
Breaking backs on laundry sacks.
Once again, it's laundering day.
WHEW!
